Senior Portrait Season!

I'm so excited for Senior Portraits! They are one of my favorite times of the year beacause I get to meet and get creative with teens and create portraits that fit who they are!
Here is a recent Senior Portrait Session I did with Kelsey up in Vancouver, we had such a fun time!

Catch up time!

The past few weeks have been a total blur, I photographed a wedding, had finals, my Dad, his girlfriend and my Gram flew in from Michigan, I graduated, the family left and here I find myself with so much extra time on my hands without all that schoolwork! It's awesome! So now I thought I would post a few images of what I've been up to. :-)

This is one of my good friends, Katherine, who I graduated with, she will be moving down to LA next week to continue school! All the best luck and hope to see you soon!

I had the pleasure of photographing Erin, my best friend, this past Saturday out at her mom's house in Gaston! Great people and beautiful property! :-)

And since we were there why not take pictures of the kids too! :-)

My little rockstar!

A recent homework assignment I had was to create a high key portrait and mimic as much of another image I found. The image I found was on istockphoto.com and is seen below. Since I wanted to use my son as the subject the above "style" didn't suit him or me very well... we put our own creative spin on the assignment...

We had so much fun! He is such a great model, he's had so much practice since I've been pointing a camera at him since he was born, now that's a lot of practice! He also is an amazing photographer himself!

This image was shot in my dining room hanging my really nice white sheets from the ceiling! This assignment has shown me that I can really shoot anywhere, if I can do it in my tiny house then I could go to almost anyones' house and shoot there too!

More Homework
